2007 Sigma Supersport 140

SOLD - 1.6 Ford Sigma-engined S3 with the Supersport upgrade. Top specification car with two lowered floors, 8 inch rear wheels, leather seats, ZF LSD and full weather gear.

Registered in December 2007, this car started off life as a Roadsport 125 in the 2008 Academy then was upgraded to Supersport specification - widetrack, uprated cams, ECU remap, lightened flywheel and cold-box air intake, bringing it up to around 140bhp.

Over the last few months it has been professionally stripped down and rebuilt by Caterham specialists The Classic Car Workshop, with new panels all round from Arch Motors, vibrant orange paintwork, a ground-up engine rebuild and a fresh ZF limited slip differential - the ultimate LSD - supplied by acknowledged Caterham experts Road and Race Transmissions with the correct pre-load and ramp angles for the car.

Inside it has leather S-type seats, a heated windscreen, heater, carpets, full weather gear (hood, hoodsticks and full sidescreen doors) and with the 5-speed gearbox it is ideal for touring in warmth and comfort. And unusually it also has both floorpans lowered, to suit both the taller driver and passenger.

Outside, the brand new FIA rollbar, fully adjustable platforms, widetrack front suspension, 8 inch rear wheels with Yokohama A048 tyres and front and rear anti-roll bars mean it's also an excellent trackday/sports car, especially with the extra power and torque from the upgraded engine and the limited slip diff.

It will come with a new 12 month MOT for UK customers, or as it is an EU4 factory-built car it may be ideal for registering in Europe, and like all our cars, is fully warrantied by us for a whole year.
