1995 Caterham 1.8 VVC

SOLD - With its 150bhp 1.8 litre VVC engine, 5-speed gearbox, traditional British Racing Green paintwork and full weather gear this is the perfect fast touring Caterham.

It was registered in 1995, and has had the same owner for the last 16 years. It was unused in a garage for much of that time, and has covered only 8300 miles in its whole lifetime.

The car has had a total strip down and rebuild in our care, with modern Dedion suspension, fully-overhauled engine, new panels and paint, and thousands spent on parts and labour to bring it back into prime condition.

It has a comfortable S-type seats, carpets, a heater, full weather gear and a spare wheel for touring, and the safety of an FIA bar and full 4-point harnesses. The minilite wheels, yellow feature noseband and '7' grille really make the car stand out, while nice touches in the cockpit like a red starter button and removable steering wheel add to the class.

The real bonus of this car is the engine. With 150bhp, the rarely-available VVC engine pulls all through the rev range, and the throaty roar of the 4-branch exhaust system plus legendary Caterham handling make this car a great driving experience.

The car will come with a new 12-month MOT for UK buyers; for European customers who are interested in whether this car can be registered in your country, the chassis number starts SDKRDK.
